Welcome to our inaugural pick of the week! This week our staff have highlighted the following :

Simon recommends MetaX. A brilliant (FREE) metadata taging application available for both Mac and PC. A lot of people ripping their DVD's to use on AppleTV and other media players find they need something to categorise their movies quickly and add thumbnails - this the ideal product to use in conjunction with Handbrake.

Chris has highlighted Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid Drives. These new drives add some flash memory into the mix to improve performance. Significantly quicker than their standard drive counterparts, they're reasonably priced and well worth the investment to speed up a machine. And compared to SSD drives, they're excellent value.
